Meet the Artist: Tessa
Tessa Fuqua is an American artist with a multicultural background based in Colorado. Within her creative practice she has an openness and passion to create and show her art in many types of environments and with a diversity of people. Her creations range a variety of mediums from small illustrations and paintings to large chalk art and murals. Her art work tends to be colorful and positive, often portraying expressions of animals or people. She is an award winning street chalk artist and has showcased in various galleries, venues, and events in multiple states, including work as a selected or featured artist.
Meet the Artist: Mik
Mik is a storyteller currently living in the PNW.
Her work encompasses a wide variety of mediums and tends to circle around themes of mental illness, human connection, and the whimsy in everyday life.
In the past she has shown work at multiple zine fests and exhibitions, worked as a composer and set designer/painter, been an assistant mural artist, and performed as a musician in multiple projects.
When not working on stories and projects she can be found aspiring to be a space pirate, obsessively playing Stardew Valley, and eating way too much bread.
